Straco does London Fashion Week
The team at Straco HQ have been getting in on the #LFW2017 action this week. As we watched the live shows unfold, we got all artistic by putting together our very own portrait studio and we arrived to work dressed for the catwalk taking inspiration from our favourite fashion icons, designers and brands.
Greenery
On day one of London Fashion week, we went from red to green by donning green clothes and accessories all in the name of Pantones coveted colour of the season.
Influencing trends in all facets of design-architecture, interior décor, fashion and food, at Straco HQ we were on “fashion-watch” seeing how the industry took inspiration off the catwalk by channeling nature driven concepts into their work. One of our favourite’s was Air BNB’s sustainable “Outside In” house project as spotted in London’s design district of Clerkenwell. Read more about the nature driven pop up here.
A day of athleisure
As the athleisure trend continued to infiltrate the catwalk with collections from Versus Versace comprising zip-up track tops worn with flatforms, and Ashley Williams athleisure collection taking inspiration from American western; the team at Straco HQ also took to sporting their swankiest sportswear. From Converse to Adidas, and from Moncler to Stella, there were labels a plenty being fashioned by the team.
The outfit of the day was awarded to Amelia for her printed graphic leggings and crop jumper combo. All hail Athleisure as a new way to dress to work.
Fashion Queen
We work hard at Straco HQ, but we always like to make sure we have a little fun along the way too and our ‘Dress like your favourite fashion icon’ day saw Audrey Hepburn, Bridget Bardot and David Beckham enter the building.
For her Versace necklace, loud prints and accompanying bottle of Bolli squeezed into a Lacroix bag; we couldn’t resist but to crown our Sales & Marketing Manager Sinead as Fashion Queen as she rocked up looking absolutely fabulous as Edina Monsoon.
So, that was our #LFW2017 highlights- what were your favorites from London Fashion Week?
