Our client is a thriving company engaged in the custom design, consultancy and manufacture of retail display, shop in shop and brand store. They are able to offer in-house design and manufacture, meaning they are able to provide an impressive client list with innovative design and functional, cost effective solutions. They handle all installation and maintenance requirements as part of their full service.

Now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a large quantity of projects are developed and delivered to the correct specification; on schedule and at the best possible cost.

This role is predominately office based either in Surrey or London, but with usual flexibility required.

Job Role

• Provide accurate calculations related to customer demand / budget management and appropriation of service capacities applicable to project budget
• Thorough project planning with milestones to meet deadlines
• Provide Pro-active solutions for delivering the best project result
• Deliver projects according to the customer demands
• Achieve a good understanding of problems by retrieving and researching important data, and by establishing links to find the cause
• Allocate responsibilities to employees using existing time, skills and potential of the employees
• Giving a high priority to the satisfaction of customers or internal stakeholders, and provide service or assistance when required
• Quickly analyse, processes and absorb new information and ideas and apply them effectively
• Insight into or feeling for practical, mechanical and physical laws
• Effectively determine goals and priorities and indicate time, actions, resources and people needed and then organise them efficiently in order to achieve these goals

Skills and Experience

• Proven client facing project management experience, preferable within the POS, Retail Displays or a similar industry
• A development background would be advantageous
• University degree / experience in a similar role
• Knowledge and experience with MS Office
• Experience with Exact ERP software is desirable
• Good communication and social skills
• Budget and timeline management
• Ability to multitask and be flexible during times of change
• Driving License
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials and able to interpret engineering drawings
