A leading independent creative agency specialising in Retail Design. They’re full of passion and creativity, consistently delivering outstanding retail design solutions and providing a full turnkey service from concept, through production, to implementation, for a diverse range of global and national clients.

They’re now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Director, you will be responsible for managing your own retail and brand activation projects. This role does have scope for hybrid working, but you are generally required to be in the office for 80% of the working week.

Job Role

• An expert at managing fast-paced retail and brand activation projects, keeping them on schedule, within budget and to the highest standard
• This role will involve travel to client/retailer meetings, regular supplier visits and some on-site project locations
• You should be able to build good working relationships with colleagues, clients and supply partners
• A confident and assertive team player, who leads by example and able interact with people with various levels of experience
• Identify and eradicate the risks on a project, ensuring that scheduling, quality and costs are all managed effectively
• Maintain an accurate administration of projects using Word, Excel and SAGE templates
• Provide cost estimates with production quotes, negotiating the best value price and understanding your choice of specialist suppliers
• Quality control of supplier goods, ensuring they are fit for purpose, meeting specifications and available on schedule for each project are the key deliverables to this role

Skills and Experience

• At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role delivering projects in retail spaces, such as pop-ups, promotional sites, in-store updates/ graphic refreshes, shop in shop builds and/or fixture rollouts
• Good technical and practical understanding of manufacturing and materials including wood, metal, plastics, digital & screen print, LED lighting, Audio Visual displays & signage making practices, packaging & goods handling / freight deliver
• Outstanding organisational and numeracy skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to thrive in a fast moving, high-pressured environment
• A good understanding of H&S requirements for working in public spaces
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Sage Job Cost or similar
• Flexibility in relation to working hours and travel
• Hold a full UK driving license
