Our client is a specialist within interior fit outs, covering the Retail, Hospitality, Education and Health Care Sectors.

Due to continued growth within the company, they’re seeking an enthusiastic Development Designer, to join them.

You’ll need great CAD design knowledge and Solidworks skills, to specialise in the design and development of retail equipment. Retail experience using different timbers is paramount. This is a hybrid role with scope for 3 days WFH and popping into the office 2 days.

Job Role

• CAD design & development of retail equipment
• Create full production drawing packs to a high standard
• Create cutting list and requisition sheets
• Work collaboratively with the team
• Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule and on budget

Skills and Experience

• Highly proficient in Solidworks and good knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of Adobe CS would be beneficial
• Relevant design degree / industry experience
• Good working knowledge of materials and manufacturing process.
• Experience in the design and manufacture of retail equipment.
• Excellent engineering problem solving, with high attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines
• An enthusiastic team player
• Full driving license
