We’re working on an exciting opportunity in the vibrant city of Shanghai. Our client provides exceptional custom-made visual merchandising displays, for an array of international brands.

They’re now looking for a Visual Merchandise Display Designer & Project Manager, to join their team in Shanghai.

You’ll work on exciting, high-profile projects from concept through to execution, blending design and project management.

Job Role

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their brand and requirements
• Be the main point of contact for international clients and Chinese suppliers
• Design and visualise striking displays
• Take ownership of the technical development of products, including prototyping for mass production
• Preparing compelling visualisations and presentations for new business pitches
• Collaborate with internal teams from across the globe to ensure smooth project execution
• Accurately prepare estimates, quotations and sales orders, as required

Skills and Experience

• 3-5 Years’ of experience within the Visual Merchandising industry
• Expertise in 2D/3D design software
• A creative thinker, with excellent project management skills and an eye for detail
• You thrive in a collaborative, international environment, working on fast-paced projects
• A relevant degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design or similar
• Excellent visualisation and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office with advanced English communication skills
• A reliable work ethic and positive mindset
• A desire for travel and adventure, with the ability to relocate and work in Shanghai
• Any experience in graphic design, offset printing or knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus
