I’m a dog with a bone this season with all that the creative industry has to offer – they’ve really pulled out all the stops this Christmas with festive decorations across the UK stopping shoppers in their tracks.  From gigantic Mistletoe to super tall trees, who did it best?  Here’s my pawsome top five that I spotted when out and about with the Straco team.

1. The 30-metre-high tree at Liverpool One – this tree is a must for any Beatles fans, and is still fab if you’re not! Comprising a total of 280 ‘Beatles-esque “All you need is love” heart-lights you certainly can’t miss it while shopping!
2. The Cirque du Soleil Amaluna Christmas tree at St Pancras – this 12-metre-high spectacle offers an underwater projection of the cast performing their show while also raising awareness and money for Oxfam. Hot diggity dog!
3. The Christmas chandelier in the Trafford Centre – Manchester’s shopping centre offers one of the more elegant pieces of Christmas décor, this chandelier resides above shoppers at an impressive 26ft deep and 16ft wide. With thousands of pieces of Chinese glass, it illuminates the Trafford Centre and made me barking mad with delight!
4. The gigantic Mistletoe in Covent Garden – Hanging overhead in Covent Garden’s historic Piazza, this mistletoe certainly adds some Christmas magic to passers-by – brilliant for a pooch who likes to smooch!
5. Santa’s Bauble Grotto in the Merion Centre – this Leeds based Santa’s Bauble Grotto must have fallen off a rather large tree! Looking something like Cinderella’s carriage, it sparkles and entices parents and children (and dogs) alike to say hello to Santa – I asked for a new squeaky toy!
