Business Development Manager

About

Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke exhibition stands, retail fit outs, office interiors and digital.

They pride themselves on being a close-knit team, where every member has the opportunity to progress and develop within their roles.

They are now looking for a pro-active Business Development Manager, to take their outbound sales and marketing to the next level. You should be able to deliver a pipeline of new business leads, via a range of different channels.

This role offers hybrid working with 1-2 days in the office and the rest working from home and visiting potential clients.

Job Role

  • Confidently provide a high standard of communication to clients, showing interest and enthusiasm about their projects
  • Source leads for the company through a variety of channels
  • Contact and qualify potential leads
  • You should be self-motivated and capable of researching, tracking and maintaining leads independently
  • Research plays a key part in this role – you will need to effectively use and maintain the lead generation database, conduct customer research and interpret market surveys
  • Keep the management team accurately informed
  • Ensure you have strong knowledge of what the company can offer to clients, acting as a Brand Ambassador of the company
  • Contribute towards the creation of marketing materials, collateral and pitch presentations
  • Carry out any other adhoc tasks as required

Skills and Experience

  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Experience and understanding of using a CRM system
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Able to work independently with a proactive approach
  • Positive and super organised
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Proven experience with managing leads on phone calls and email
  • Proven skills with researching and maintaining databases
